Architectural Sheet Metal Specialist

our customers for over 75 years. We specialize in custom standing seam metal roofing, slate and clay tile roofing, and

looking for skilled architectural sheet metal workers to help meet the growing demands of our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install standing seam metal roofs, wall panels, fascia, soffit, gutters and downspouts.
• Work from and operate boom lifts, scissors lifts, and forklifts.
• Set up and work safely on ladders and scaffolding and serve in the role of Competent Person as required.
• Maintain personal and team safety in the shop and on jobsites.
• Fabricate various types of metal including steel, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel.
• Operate shear, CNC folding machine, hydraulic press brake, and portable roll form machinery.
• Assist contractors and customers who come into the shop and on jobsites and help in problem solving or
  providing solutions through collaboration with others as needed.
• Communicate with Project Managers and Company Management and lead other team members in their daily
  work on jobsites.
• Participate in safety classes and certifications as required by Company Management.
• All other duties as assigned by Project Managers or Company Management.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior metal roofing, metal wall panel, or slate and clay tile roofing experience.
• Knowledge and ability to operate sheet metal machinery.
• Experience soldering sheet metal, particularly copper.
• Experience operating a boom lift and/or rough terrain forklift with prior Certifications or Licenses.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work safely and confidently at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Must be able to communicate well with other workers and be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed to meet work deadlines.
• Must be committed to high standards for quality and excellence in all aspects of the job.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record to be able to drive Company vehicles to jobsites.

• Wages: $24-30 per hour based upon experience
